The institute offers management development executive education and training, research and consultancy services in addition to sharing best practices. In its pursuit of consolidating its market share in Africa and expansion strategy, and following its strategic repositioning, ESAMI seeks a suitably qualified and experienced person to fill the vacancy of the COUNTRY MANAGER, Uganda. The Country Manager position is a dual role that is strategic and operationally bridges the gap between product development, promotion and delivery. The position will be based in Kampala, Uganda with scheduled travel to other markets and ESAMI Headquarters in Austria. Duties and Responsibilities - Develop and implement country marketing and business development strategies.
- Manage ESAMIâs brand and stakeholder relationships.
- Drive partnerships, collaboration, and digital marketing initiatives.
- Oversee country operations, financial management, and business school programmes.
- Deliver executive training, workshops, research, and consultancy assignments.
- Support programme design, curriculum development, and alumni engagement.
- Represent ESAMI in government, client, and academic forums.
Competencies The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, strategic marketing and customer relationship management skills, with proven ability in business development, financial management, training, research and consultancy. Excellent communication, IT proficiency, innovation, and problem-solving skills are essential. Qualifications Masterâs degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or related field, with at least 8 yearsâ relevant experience (3 at manager/ai level). Professional qualifications (e.g. CIN, HRM) are preferred Masterâs degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics or related field with eight (8) years of relevant experience with at least three (3) years in a managerial position. Relevant professional qualifications in marketing on many other related field and membership in relevant professional bodies (e.g., CIN, HRM) is preferred. A doctorate degree will be an added advantage.
