The role involves safe and efficient operation of the wheel loader on site. Key Responsibilities - Operate wheel loaders and related equipment for construction and site tasks.
- Use front-end loaders to transport materials and debris around the rig.
- Check for damages, report shortages, and note quality issues.
- Deliver materials and equipment to designated areas.
- Inspect and maintain machinery to ensure safety and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inventory and activity records.
- Adhere to company policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Assist the rig crew with additional tasks as assigned by rig management
Qualifications and Requirements - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
- Approved certification in wheel loader operation
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating a wheel loader
- Familiarity with oil and gas operations is an added advantage
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills
