JOB DETAILS:

Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering; or Electro- Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.

Working Experience

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Services Engineer for performing the following duties:-

-        Designing and documenting mechanical installation works of public buildings/projects;

-        Preparing Terms of Reference for public building projects and programmes;

-        Rendering technical advice in mechanical installation matters to other Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies;

-        Monitoring, supervising and coordinating consultancy services and construction works on Government building projects or programmes;

-        Checking and certifying Consultants’ fees, construction contractor’s payment certificates and project final accounts of Government building projects;

-        Assisting in preparing departmental budget and estimates framework;

-        Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
