- Ensure incoming shipments are recovered, âbreak bulked and processed in the quickest, most efficient manner possible
- Ensure accurate sorting and optimum loading of all inbound & outbound shipments
- Ensure that pre-alerts are actioned and sent on time
- Advise the concerned people of any flight offloads, delays etc.
- Carry out any administrative task that is required for the Service Centre to process material and provide network and shipment information often within tight time frames
- Whenever necessary Capture information - and make available to the Network - information required for a shipment, piece, or handling unit at the service Centre according to the standard procedures.
- Ensure Security practices and policies that support the business needs are met.
- Understand and comply with the requirement from other Gateways and Hubs
- Manage the receipt of data/documents to assist in the preparation of import and export declarations
- Raise an issue properly if necessary, during the screening ofdata / documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Submit and evaluate daily reports on Air Operations Operations KPIâs and highlight any problems.
- Ensure that GSOP procedures are adhered to.
- Prepared to work outside office hours and on Public Holidays
Required Skills Valid Driverâs License, well groomed - neat appearance, good communication skills in English/local language, accuracy and attention to detail, ability to manage time and to be punctual, ability to work well and under pressure, good interpersonal skills, sound knowledge of logistic industry and country custom procedure. Education Requirements - Minimum of bachelorâs degree in business administration, procurement and logistics management, supply chain management or related courses.
- Minimum of two years related experience.
