Tax Coordinator - East Africa The Regional Tax Coordinator is responsible for tax matters for a specific country or several countries within a GeoMarket. Responsibilities: - Review and file fiscal accounts, tax returns and tax payments in compliance with local regulations.
- Review intercompany agreements and practices.
- Audit internal compliance with tax regulations.
- Review FP8 and define practice for recording tax provisions in accordance with policy.
- Review employee related withholdings and tax related issues.
- Support operations in the bidding process, including setting up new operations, and in reviewing customer bids and contracts.
- Provide liaison for and monitor local tax audits.
Experience & Exposures: - Minimum bachelors degree in finance or equivalent.
- 4-8 years work experience in tax practice
- Professional qualification and membership of a national/international chartered accounting or taxation Institute
- Solid understanding of tax regimes and regulations, tax audits and compliance procedures in East Africa.
- Proficient in ERPs eg SAP.
- Good communication skills.
