CPP is hiring a Senior Sideboom Operator to drive, inspect, and maintain sidebooms for a major oil and gas pipeline project. This role ensures safety, logs performance, and includes ongoing training to support project operations. Responsibilities: - Operate sidebooms to lift and position pipeline sections during installation.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure sideboom functionality and safety.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on sidebooms to prevent downtime.
- Log performance metrics and report any issues to supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards during all operations.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills and stay updated on best practices.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in pipeline projects with sideboom expertise.
- Proven ability to operate sidebooms in oil and gas pipeline settings.
- Strong knowledge of equipment maintenance and safety protocols.
- Attention to detail in logging performance and reporting issues.
- Physical fitness to work in challenging field environments.
