Open Domestic Bidding for Supply of Food Stuffs, Charcoal and Firewood tender at Butabika School of Psychiatric Nursing

The Government of Uganda through Butabika School of Psychiatric Nursing has allocated funds to be used for the provision of Food staffs, charcoal, and firewood under framework contract for one year.

2. Butabika School of Psychiatric Nursing invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.
3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic/Bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003 and are open to all bidders.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(d) from 8.00am to 5.00pm daily during the working hours in the course of the bidding period.
5. The Bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of a written application to the address below in 8(d) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (One hundred thousand shillings). The method of payment will be by bank deposit on Butabika School of Psychiatric Nursing Account No. 9030005844575 Stanbic Bank IPS branch.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below in 8 (d) at or before 11: 00am on Thursday 19th June, 2025.
   Bid Securing Declarations must be valid up to 28th November, 2025 after bid opening. Late bids shall not be accepted. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below in 8 (d) at 11:30 am on Thursday 19th June, 2025.
7. There is no pre- bid meeting.

The Butabika School of Psychiatric Nursing is a premier institution under the Ministry of Health, Government of Uganda, dedicated to training psychiatric nurses to address mental health challenges in the country. The school is located within the Butabika National Referral Mental Hospital premises, providing students with hands-on clinical experience.

Key Responsibilities for the Procurement Role:

• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of foodstuffs, charcoal, and firewood to support the school’s operations.
