The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in network engineering and a strong passion for designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable and secure network infrastructures. As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency, performance, and security of our network systems to support the diverse needs of our clients and stakeholders. Key Roles and Responsibilities ⢠Design, deploy, and manage complex network infrastructures, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other networking devices. ⢠Configure and optimize network hardware, software, and protocols to meet the specific requirements and objectives of our clients. ⢠Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to identify and resolve connectivity, latency, and security issues in a timely manner. ⢠Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement network solutions that align with the business goals and objectives of our clients. ⢠Implement and maintain network security measures, including access controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems, to safeguard against cyber threats and vulnerabilities. ⢠Provide technical support and assistance to clients and endusers regarding network related inquiries, issues, and escalations. ⢠Document network configurations, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with industry standards and regulations. ⢠Stay informed about emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in networking to recommend and implement improvements and enhancements to our network infrastructure. ⢠Support with technical writeups and presales activities to the business development team. Qualifications: ⢠Bachelorâs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. ⢠Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in network engineering or a similar role. ⢠Strong knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, and routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP). ⢠Handson experience with network hardware and software, such as Cisco routers and switches, Juniper firewalls, and other industrystandard networking devices. ⢠Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions. ⢠Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders. ⢠Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+) are a plus. ⢠Experience with cloud networking technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) is desirable ⢠Experience in Cyber security is desirable Leadership and Relationship Roles: ⢠Maintains contact with key internal stakeholders in matters of Enterprise Systems Support ⢠Closely liaises with Project Team, technical service teams and business heads ⢠Delegateâs authority and responsibility with accountability and followup Demonstrates ability, interacts and cooperates with all within the organization Key Performance Indicators ⢠Incident Resolution Time: Measure the time taken to resolve incidents and service-related issues. KPI target: Prompt resolution within predefined timeframes. ⢠Continual Learning: Evaluate the consultantâs commitment to staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends. KPI target: Participation in relevant training and certification programs. ⢠Project Delivery: Track the successful completion of allocated projects within scope, budget, and schedule. KPI target: Ontime and onbudget project delivery. ⢠Client Satisfaction: Gather feedback from clients regarding the consultantâs performance, responsiveness, and effectiveness in addressing customer concerns. ⢠KPI target: High client satisfaction scores.
