We are scaling up in Uganda and beginning pilots in new geographies, providing an affordable and environmentally responsible mobility solution. About the Role Zembo is seeking a dynamic and creative Marketing Officer to lead our social media content creation and digital campaign efforts. This role will play a key part in driving awareness, engagement, and sales of Zemboâs electric motorcycles with swappable batteries. The ideal candidate is a skilled storyteller with a strong grasp of digital platforms, a passion for clean mobility, and the ability to create compelling, locally relevant content that connects with riders, fleet owners, and the general public. Key Responsibilities Social Media Content Development Campaign Management Brand Storytelling & Promotion Market Insights & Feedback Required Qualifications: - Bachelorâs degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field.
- 2â4 years of experience in digital marketing or social media management, preferably in mobility, energy, or FMCG sectors.
- Proven ability to design and execute social media campaigns end-to-end.
- Proficiency in content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, etc.) and familiarity with Meta Business Suite or similar tools.
- Strong storytelling, writing, and editing skills in English and at least one local language (e.g., Luganda).
- Comfortable creating content in the field, engaging with motorcycle riders, and covering events in real-time.
