for all company operations, decisions and transactions. Activités Roles and Responsibilities - Manage performance of the legal section in line with professional legal standards.
- Mitigate litigation risk and provide legal advice to the company.
- Support the Company secretary.
- Execute the debt collection strategy.
- Mitigating legal risks through structured management of the Contracts portfolio.
- Manage insurance policies, processes, and claims.
- Ensure the company’s operations comply with the applicable laws, regulations, voluntary commitments, and standards.
- Train and create awareness to the commercial employees on the laws and expectations of the law affecting their roles and duties.
- Manage the external legal panel and all third-Party service providers under the Legal section.
Profil du candidat Experience/Qualification - Bachelor’s Degree in Laws.
- Post Graduate Diploma in Legal practice is a must.
- Excellent communicator and innovative Legal-business solutions.
- Minimum of three (3) years experience with atleast 1 year as an in-house lawyer
- Member of the Uganda Law Society.
