JOB DETAILS:

Job Purpose

To provide technical support in the promotion of Special Economic Zones

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1) Guiding investors on the process of securing authorizations, services, in a speedy and professional manner in order to implement and operate their licensed/registered projects within the Free Zone;

2) Conducting research in order to promote Free Zones in Uganda;

3) Undertaking the development and management of Free Zones;

4) Attracting new investments in the Free Zones;

5) Appraising new investments/projects and prepare opinions/technical advice on due diligence on applicants for licenses; and 6) Monitoring and supervising activities of free zone operators.

Person specifications

(a) Academic Qualifications A Honors Bachelor's degree in Economics, Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, International Trade, Law or Social Sciences from a recognized University.
