The study aims to provide actionable insights into the current market dynamics, affordability, and accessibility of smartphones across different regions and demographics in Uganda. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct a nationwide survey to determine smartphone ownership rates and usage patterns.
- Analyze pricing trends of smartphones in the Ugandan market, including new and refurbished devices.
- Identify barriers to smartphone adoption, such as cost, infrastructure, and awareness.
- Assess the impact of government policies and initiatives on smartphone penetration.
- Provide recommendations to enhance affordability and increase smartphone uptake, particularly among underserved populations.
Requirements: - Proven experience in conducting market research, particularly in the telecommunications or technology sectors.
- Strong analytical skills and expertise in data collection and interpretation.
- Familiarity with Uganda’s telecommunications landscape and regulatory framework.
- Ability to deliver a detailed report with clear findings and actionable recommendations.
