You are the face of our restaurant, responsible for guiding guests through their experience, providing knowledgeable menu recommendations, and ensuring every guest leaves happy. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive attitude and a passion for service. Key Responsibilities - Provide warm, attentive, and professional service to all guests.
- Possess thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, allergens, and preparation methods, to make confident recommendations.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and drinks, ensuring accuracy and proper presentation.
- Manage multiple tables efficiently, ensuring timely service from greeting to payment.
- Process customer payments using the POS system.
- Set up, clean, and maintain dining areas and service stations.
- Work collaboratively with other servers, bussers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with patience and professionalism.
Qualifications & Experience - Previous experience as a server in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred.
- Point of Sale (POS) system experience (e.g., Toast, OpenTable, Micros) is a plus.
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol (where applicable).
Skills & Competencies - Exceptional Customer Service: A guest-first mentality.
- Communication: Clear verbal communication and active listening skills.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively and supportively with all staff.
- Multi-tasking & Efficiency: Ability to thrive under pressure and prioritize tasks.
- Positive Attitude: A friendly and professional demeanor.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and carry trays.
