The role involves marketing the pharmacyâs products and services, creating brand awareness, building strong customer relationships, and driving sales of pharmaceutical products in compliance with relevant health regulations. Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development - Actively promote and sell pharmacy products to customers, healthcare providers, institutions, hospitals, and pharmacies.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase market share.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
- Follow up with clients to ensure repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Ensure all marketing and sales activities comply with industry regulations and company ethical standards.
- Supervise Sales Agents and mentor sales agents to achieve their set targets.
Marketing & Brand Awareness - Develop and implement marketing strategies to position the pharmacy competitively in the market.
- Organize and participate in promotional activities, health campaigns, and community outreach programs.
- Deliver accurate product information, samples, and promotional materials to healthcare providers, explain benefits, dosages, side effects, and contraindications of each product.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competition activities, and regulatory changes to identify potential opportunities or threats and report feedback to management.
Customer Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and healthcare professionals.
- Provide accurate product information and guidance to clients in line with pharmacy ethics and legal requirements.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally.
- Log client meetings, calls, and sales activities for CRM systems and keep accurate records for reporting purposes.
Compliance & Reporting - Ensure all sales and marketing activities comply with pharmaceutical laws and ethical standards.
- Maintain accurate sales records, reports, and customer databases.
- Provide weekly and monthly sales and marketing performance reports to management.
- Continuously upgrade professional and product knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments and compliance requirements.
Qualifications & Skills Education - Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Pharmacy, or related field.
- Additional training in pharmaceutical sales is an added advantage.
Experience - At least 1â2 yearsâ experience in sales, marketing, or pharmacy-related roles.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.
Skills & Competencies - Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Good knowledge of pharmaceutical products, terminology, pharmacology and healthcare market dynamics.
- Ability to work independently and exceed targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM and social media marketing tools.
- High integrity and commitment to ethical practices.
- Valid driverâs license and willingness to travel regularly within assigned territory.
