This role demands strong financial management capabilities, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and a genuine commitment to supporting members through efficient savings and credit solutions. Key Responsibilities - Manage daily SACCO operations, including savings collection, loan processing, and member service delivery.
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
- Monitor and track loan disbursements, repayments, and overall member account performance.
- Ensure compliance with SACCO policies, by-laws, and all applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining proper documentation and implementing effective internal controls.
- Leverage Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data, generate reports and dashboards, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Foster strong member relationships to improve satisfaction and promote SACCO membership growth
Qualifications and Requirements - A Bachelorâs degree in Microfinance, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and financial reporting.
- At least 2 years of experience in finance, microfinance, or cooperative/SACCO management.
- Prior experience working in a SACCO is a strong advantage.
- Strong communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.
- Demonstrated high level of integrity and a commitment to transparency
