On behalf of our client in the logistics industry, we are looking for competent, skilled and experienced Sales Representative to work in Uganda. Job Purpose: The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving product sales and market penetration within the assigned territory by actively engaging wholesalers, retailers, and distributors. This role focuses on achieving sales targets, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring the effective promotion and visibility of FMCG products. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of providing market insights to support business growth. Duties and Responsibilities: - Actively sell and promote our range of FMCG products to wholesalers, retailers, and distributors.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
- Maintain and grow existing customer relationships while identifying new sales opportunities.
- Conduct market visits to monitor product performance, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
- Ensure proper placement, visibility, and availability of products at retail outlets.
- Work closely with the sales supervisor and marketing team to implement promotions and campaigns.
- Submit timely reports on sales activities, market insights, and customer feedback.
Requirements Experience and Qualifications: - Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related ï¬eld.
- 1â3 years of ï¬eld sales experience in the FMCG sector is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to work under minimal supervision.
- Must be willing to travel within the assigned territory.
