Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced QA/QC Surveyor to enhance our team and oversee quality assurance and quality control activities on our civil, structural, and pressure vessel projects. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelorâs degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or Naval Architecture) or a closely related discipline with a strong background in large-scale infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance & Control: Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC plans for civil, structural, and pressure vessel works, ensuring alignment with project requirements.
Inspection & Testing: Conduct detailed inspections and surveys.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate QA/QC documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action plans.
Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to discuss quality-related issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all activities comply with local and international standards, codes, and regulations.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelorâs degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, or Naval Architecture) or a closely related discipline.
Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience as a QA/QC inspector or surveyor, with a strong focus on surveys, engineering coordination, and quality assurance activities. At least 10 years of this experience should involve working on large-scale infrastructure projects. Some experience in the marine industry and project management, including planning, execution, and delivery of complex engineering projects, is highly desirable.
Skills: Strong knowledge of engineering, QA/QC standards, procedures and inspection methods including site surveys. Proficiency in relevant engineering software applications. Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and reporting skills.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of industry codes, standards and project requirements applicable to civil, structural, and pressure vessel works.
