The plant will convert waste tyres and plastics into pyrolysis oil and other sustainable fuels, contributing to industrial energy solutions and circular economy development. We invite applications from highly competent, disciplined, and results-oriented individuals to fill the following positions: Job Summary: The Plant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all day-to-day production and maintenance activities at the plant to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations. The role translates production plans into execution, optimizes plant performance, and ensures reliability of equipment, utilities, and process systems within a high-risk industrial environment. Key Result Areas: - Production plans, schedules, and operating parameters are effectively executed to achieve throughput, yield, and product quality targets.
- Plant performance indicators including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), downtime, and energy utilization are continuously monitored, analyzed, and improved.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance programs are properly planned, scheduled, and coordinated to ensure equipment reliability.
- Utilities including power systems, heating units, compressed air, and flare systems are consistently available and operating optimally.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Permit-to-Work (PTW), and Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) systems are strictly implemented and adhered to.
- Root cause analysis is conducted for operational and equipment failures, with corrective actions implemented to prevent recurrence.
- Shift teams are effectively supervised, trained, and performance-managed to maintain high operational discipline and safety standards.
- Production reports, shift logs, and operational data are accurately prepared and submitted in a timely manner.
Requirements: Applicants must possess a Bachelorâs degree or Diploma in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution. They should have a minimum of five (5) yearsâ experience in industrial or process plant operations, preferably in thermal, chemical, or manufacturing environments. Demonstrated experience in supervising technical teams, managing plant operations, and driving performance improvement is required. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential, along with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic operational environment. - Production plans, schedules, and operating parameters are effectively executed to achieve throughput, yield, and product quality targets.
