Location: Gayaza, Wakiso, Uganda Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to lead and coordinate daily factory operations. This role involves overseeing production planning, quality assurance, inventory management, machinery maintenance, and logistics. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, a results-oriented mindset, and a passion for operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Qualifications & Experience
- Oversee all aspects of production and processing to ensure efficiency and quality
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Develop and implement operational strategies and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in operations or production management
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing or processing environment
- Manage inventory, logistics, and equipment maintenance schedules
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing KPIs, quality management systems, and inventory control
- Lead, mentor, and motivate factory teams for optimal performance
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team management skill
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the operation
- Applicant age range 38-47
