Job title: Reports to: Job purpose: Junior Project Manager Senior Project Manager This role involves supervising assembly sites rather than conventional construction sitesâwhere precision, scheduling, and urgency are key to commercial success. The Junior Project Manager will support and coordinate project execution, ensuring on-time delivery, safety compliance, quality performance, and effective team collaboration. Key responsibilities The Junior Project Manager shall: - Assist in planning and coordinating construction activities on assigned projects.
- Monitor work schedules, deadlines, and ensure timely progress reporting.
- Lead coordination during site meetings and follow-up on tasks with the project team.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate smooth operations.
- Track and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements on site.
⺠Support procurement and logistics of materials and tools. ⺠Manage documentation including progress reports, safety logs, and schedules. ⺠Identify risks and collaborate with supervisors to resolve site challenges. ⺠Participate in evaluations, hand overs, and project close-out documentation. ⺠Perform any other duties and tasks as requested. Required qualifications, competencies, personal attributes and experience ⺠Bachelorâs degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture. ⺠Minimum 5 years post-university experience in site supervision or project management, including experience managing on-site teams. ⺠At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in implementing health and safety procedures on construction sites. ⺠Certificate in Health and Safety is an added advantage. ⺠Knowledge of construction processes, drawings, and project management practices. ⺠Good command of MS Office; familiarity with MS Project or similar software is a plus. ⺠Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills. ⺠Self-driven, proactive, and able to work under pressure with multiple deadlines. ⺠High level of discipline, professionalism, and attention to detail. Terms of Employment The advertised role is for a one-year contract, with a probation period of six months. The position is; ⺠Permanently based on one or several of our construction sites; ⺠Full-time (48 hours per week); ⺠21 days annual leave; ⺠Health insurance.
