This position is pivotal in aligning HR practices with business objectives, particularly during the setup, expansion, and restructuring phases of the dealership. Responsibilities - Lead end-to-end recruitment, develop hiring plans and role profiles, and coordinate onboarding across all departments.
- Create and implement HR policies aligned with Ugandan labor laws and group standards, ensuring clarity on procedures and expectations.
- Oversee monthly payroll, manage statutory compliance, and maintain accurate employee records and contracts.
- Drive performance appraisals linked to KPIs, support departmental goal setting, and lead reviews and corrective action planning.
- Address staff grievances, promote a positive work culture through engagement, and organize events, recognition, and training needs assessments.
- Identify skill gaps, coordinate training initiatives, and collaborate with Group HR for regional and brand-specific programs.
Qualifications: - Bachelorâs degree in HR Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
