POSITION DETAILS

Job Purpose Responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of motor vehicles coming in to the yard.

Main Responsibilities of the Job

• Participate in wash process and proper application of car wash equipment.
• Scrub heavily soiled and hard to reach areas of vehicles while also pre-washing exterior areas of cars.
• Carry out periodic maintenance of equipment used in washing to keep them in proper working order.
• Perform cleaning of wash area and the Yard as a whole and ensure everything is kept in an appropriate and organized manner e.g. kitchen and store.
• Move and direct cars into the wash area with a pleasant, focused and competent attitude.
• Carry out visual inspection of vehicles to confirm their condition before sending them to the wash area.
• General maintenance of the vehicles e.g. tire inflation, jump starting dead MVs.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to in carrying out given tasks daily.
• Messenger duties if allocated so.
• Any other duty allocated to you by your supervisor.

• 1- year experience is required
• Good team player.

• Strong communication skills.
• Be able to work with deadlines hence have good organizational and time management skills.
• Customer service skills
