WATER-SYSTEM TECHNICIAN – OFF-RELIEVER Job Purpose To operate, monitor and maintain water-treatment and water-distribution systems used within the pharmaceutical manufacturing facility while ensuring continuity of supply and compliance with quality requirements. Key Duties and Responsibilities - Operate and monitor industrial water-treatment systems.
- Inspect pumps, tanks, pipelines, valves, filters and related equipment.
- Monitor water-system parameters and operating conditions.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot leaks, pressure problems, pump failures and other system faults.
- Support operation of purified or treated-water systems where applicable.
- Maintain water-system logbooks and records.
- Assist with sampling and routine system checks as required.
- Escalate water-quality or equipment abnormalities.
- Provide off-relief coverage for water-system personnel.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of water-system areas.
- Follow GMP, safety and environmental requirements.
- Support qualification, validation and maintenance activities.
Qualifications & Experience - Industrial Technical qualification/ITI or equivalent.
- 2–3 years of water-system experience.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, industrial or water-treatment environments is an advantage.
- Ability to work flexible schedules.
