Wastewater Attendant job at Exquisite Solution

Exquisite Solution Limited is recruiting a Wastewater Attendant for a client in the manufacturing sector. The position is responsible for managing wastewater operations to support and ensure compliance with the statutory Environmental Management System (EMS).

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the physical wastewater treatment plant.
• Manage and run the biological wastewater treatment process.
• Monitor equipment performance and promptly report any abnormalities to the maintenance team or relevant personnel.
• Ensure accurate dosing of chemical components, while monitoring stock levels and reporting in a timely manner.
• Maintain up-to-date daily operational records for review as required.
• Receive, handle, and manage sludge in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure the wastewater treatment plant is always kept clean and orderly.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual tasks.
• Basic knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.
• Understanding of quality control processes and practices.
• Strong interpersonal and  communication skills.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently.
