The role requires professionalism, attentiveness, and strong communication skills. Key Responsibilities - Welcome guests warmly and escort them to available seating where required.
- Present menus and explain menu items, daily specials, and promotions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
- Check on guests during their meals to ensure satisfaction.
- Clear tables and prepare them for the next guests.
- Process customer bills and payments where assigned.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Report customer complaints or concerns to the supervisor promptly.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and café staff to ensure efficient service.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Requirements
- Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality or a related field.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a restaurant, café, or hotel.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
