Job Description/Requirements Location: Bombo Job Summary: We are seeking passionate and skilled Vocational Training Teachers to teach courses in Tailoring, Fashion, and Design. The ideal candidates will have expertise in these fields and a desire to inspire and educate students, equipping them with the practical skills needed for a successful career in the fashion industry.
Key Responsibilities: - Teach students the fundamentals of tailoring, fashion design, and garment construction.
- Provide hands-on training in sewing, pattern making, and fabric selection.
- Monitor and support students in practical workshops, ensuring safety standards are met.
- Prepare students for certification or exams, as required.
Qualifications and Skills: - Certification or diploma in fashion design, tailoring, or a related field.
- Previous experience in the fashion industry or teaching vocational courses.
- Proven experience in tailoring, fashion design, or a related field.
- A teaching qualification or previous experience in a vocational training setting is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about teaching and mentoring students.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles.
Working Conditions: - Working Days: 3 days per week
- Salary: 300,000 UGX during a 3-month probation period.Â
