Roles and Responsibilities - Improve driving performance.
- Monitor and analyze data from in-vehicle monitoring systems (IVMS)/vehicle tracker systems.
- Serves as subject matter expert for vehicle data recorder data interpretation.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative assessments to identify risks associated with heavy and light vehicle operations.
- Involves assets in developing action plans as needed.
- Conduct assessments and provide support for driving safety activities for Company drivers.
- Monitor incident trends and perform root cause investigations.
- Present findings and safety trend analysis reports to management and other audiences.
- Monitor/research new/existing government regulations and interpret the impact on the region.
- Develop and deliver presentations regarding road safety performance.
- Share/gain logistics best practices.
- Assist in monitoring and improving the Companyâs contractor road safety performance.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills - Diploma in Information Technology, Transport, or Logistics is preferred but not mandatory.
- Safety training is required.
- 1â2 years of relevant experience in transportation, logistics, road safety, or fleet monitoring.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, and/or road safety is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with fleet monitoring systems, particularly IVMS.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and analytical skills.
- Flexibility to work different shifts
