Job Summary:  The Treasury Manager – Forex will report to the Head of Treasury and will be based at Head office. He/ she will be responsible for planning and implementing the foreign exchange business in line with Pride’s policies and the applicable laws and regulations.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage forex trading functions to meet corporate goals financially.
Develop and implement foreign exchange business plan.
Report the results periodically and review and update the plan periodically
Manage the treasury balance with banks.
Maintain quality customer service, create client solutions and perceptive judgment of client needs.
Identify, measure, control and monitor all foreign exchange risks.
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements and Prides policy stipulations.
Receive and review foreign exchange reports from the branches and consolidate them for compliance report to the central bank and EXCOM.
Supervisor TOs in charge of forex trading to ensure efficient operations.
Conclude forex transactions with set limits.
Monitor overall FX positions at branch level to ensure compliance.
Review forex limits to align the same to business demands.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Business Administration or any other related field majoring in accounting or finance.
ACI Dealers Certificate and professional course are added advantage
At least six years’ experience in a financial institution preferably in finance or forex department.
He/she should not be more than 45 years of age.
