Job Purpose/MissionÂ
Engie Energy Access is looking for dynamic, highly motivated and disciplined Telesales Representatives with a passion for entrepreneurship, renewable energy, and financial inclusion to join our team. A Telesales Representative is an individual who works under limited supervision and performs duties associated with customer acquisition and onboarding, while ensuring exceptional customer experience above all.
ResponsibilitiesÂ
Pitching Engie products to the target market to ensure growth of customer baseÂ
Market the product and generate sales leadsÂ
Acquire new customers over the phoneÂ
Do top of the class customer onboardingÂ
Educate customers about the product use and installationÂ
Educate customers on how to payÂ
Interpret the Loan Agreement to the customer and make sure they understand the financial commitment they are taking onÂ
Responsible for all the sales made to increase revenue generation (repayment)Â
Cross/up-selling to existing customersÂ
Provide a positive experience to the customers on all phone interactions regardless of the outcomeÂ
Ensure top tier customer experience to achieve high customer satisfactionÂ
Report any (suspected or confirmed) case of fraud or tampering to Engie managementÂ
Escalate unresolved issues or questions to the Call Centre team lead on site.Â
Observe standard operating procedures and safety practicesÂ
Product knowledgeÂ
Learn all product details, specifications, prices, and capabilities to be equipped with all product information.Â
Always provide accurate product information to customers and never oversell or lie to customers about our product capabilities.Â
Should be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the customer finance agreementÂ
Take the initiative to continuously improve your product knowledge and soft customer service skills to better serve our customers and develop your career.Â
Assist in Sales / Cross Selling Â
Through creating good rapport with existing customers, he/she should be able to identify new sales leads and communicate to the sales team
Cross selling to existing customersÂ
Any other duties assigned to you by your line manager from time to timeÂ

Qualifications:
