ESSENTIAL DUTIES - Participate in the development and implementation of the maintenance plan for all terminal equipment, installations and structures in line with condition, maintenance and operation manuals, and best industry practices.
- Perform conditional monitoring and inspection of electrical equipment, installations and structures.
- Participate in assessment and troubleshooting for equipment faults, prepare assessment report and repair/replace requirements.
- Attend equipment malfunctioning and break downs to restore operations in shortest possible time.
- Monitor contractors under specialized maintenance contracts and prepare performance reports to Maintenance and HSE Officer.
- Initiate the ordering and verification of delivered spares parts, equipment, and maintenance consumables.
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor(s).
Qualifications & Experience - An Ordinary Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or any other relevant closely related diploma from a recognised training Institute
- Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience in electrical works from large and reputable manufacturing companies, construction or factory settings or machinery workshops.
- Experience in operations and maintenance of petroleum products terminal/depot equipment is an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety protocols in Depot Operations is Petroleum Product Terminals/Depots is an added advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office [MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Outlook].
Skills and Competencies - Excellent communication
- Ability to work quickly under pressure
- Organization and task prioritizing skills
- Proactiveness in executing duties
- High degree of integrity
- Ability to troubleshoot and provide solutions to existing problems
- Planning and organization skills
- Records keeping and report writing abilities
