Coca-Cola Beverages Uganda /CCBU is a subsidiary of CCBA, and we are currently seeking to recruit a Country Lead: Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding. As Country Lead: Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding, you will report directly to the People & Culture Director JOB PURPOSE To contribute to CCBUâs vision by developing and executing strategies to attract, engage, and recruit talent while strengthening the companyâs employer brand, in alignment with Business priorities. This role will drive the full talent acquisition life cycle and employer branding initiatives to ensure CCBU remains competitive, attractive, and well positioned as an employer of choice. Key Duties & Responsibilities Key Outputs & Accountabilities - Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including job posting, candidate sourcing, interviewing, and offer negotiation.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance on best practices.
- Develop and execute employer branding strategies to enhance CCBUâs reputation as the employer of choice.
- Create compelling employer branding campaigns and content for social media, career websites, and other platforms to showcase the company culture
- and values.
- Organize and participate in employer branding events, University engagements, and talent networking forums.
- Monitor employer brand performance through employee feedback, candidate experience surveys, and external reputation platforms.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Public Affairs and Communications teams to align employer branding efforts with overall brand strategy.
- Provide training and support to hiring managers on recruitment and employer branding best practices.
- Foster strong relationships with external partners and educational institutions.
- Prepare regular reports on recruitment activities and employer branding initiatives to identify areas of improvement.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and employer branding.
- Monitor employer brand perception and implement strategies to enhance our reputation as an employer of choice.
- Take on any other role within the Function as may be assigned.
Skills, Experience & Education Qualifications - Minimum requirement: Bachelorâs Degree in Marketing, Communications, Human Resource Management, Organizational Psychology, or a related discipline.
- Added advantage: Relevant postgraduate qualifications.
Experience - Minimum requirement: 8-10 years of proven experience in Marketing, and/or Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and employer branding, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of employer branding strategies and/or recruitment processes.
- Added advantage: Experience in an FMCG.
Competencies - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using recruitment software and social media platforms.
- Decisiveness and Risk Judgment
- Strong service and work ethic
- Planning and organizing ability
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to build networks and relationships.
