Job Description We are currently seeking a people-centric talent acquisition professional to join our growing Africa Region as a Central Functions and People Team colleague. The People Team enables our colleagues at DA with tools, resources, systems and processes to better deliver in their work. As a Talent Acquisition Advisor, you will play a crucial role in driving our mission forward, enabling significant social change and impacting lives on a global scale. Your role will involve collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on our priorities and business objectives in the Africa Region, as well as in support of broader EMEA initiatives. This role is being offered as a full-time consultant role based in an African country with existing right-to-work authorisation for the country you’re based. Key Responsibilities. • Act as a main support in Africa and liaison for the region on all things Talent Acquisition. • Engage with key internal stakeholders to understand hiring needs, share updates, and problem solve roadblocks to effective hiring and recruitment. • Source candidates and develop a talent pipeline across multiple job levels, countries, and channels/networks. • Coordinate with colleagues in the region to streamline effective hiring, recruiting, and interviewing. • Proactively identify and resolve issues as they arise and anticipate challenges before they escalate. • Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. • Act as a subject matter expert for recruitment on the African continent. • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition colleagues and the broader People Team to support recruitment and onboarding processes in Africa and broader EMEA. • Identify training needs and employee engagement initiatives related to hiring. • Advise hiring managers on recruitment processes, best practice, candidate selection, and hiring decisions. • Manage candidate experience for the region and maintain a robust candidate CRM. Required Skills/Experiences: • Educational background: A Bachelor’s degree or course of study in Business, Finance, Human Resources, Development, or another relevant field. Requisite years of professional experience and/or apprenticeship pathways will also be considered in lieu of formal education. • Professional experience: 4-6 years of professional experience, working in and across various roles in recruitment, talent acquisition, and/or human resources. • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. • Project management: Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects. • Remote collaboration: Proficiency in using collaborative tools in a remote working environment, such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Slack, Miro, Mural, Airtable, etc. • Language requirements: English proficiency (both written and spoken) is essential. Proficiency in French is also preferred.Authorization + location requirements: An existing right-to-work is required for the country in Africa in which you are currently based. Work Hours: 8
