JOB DETAILS: Position Summary The Systems Administrator and IT Support Officer shall be responsible for all ICT requirements of the Program, Web Maintenance, and the technical Operations of the Disability Resource unit. Duties & Responsibilities 1. Design, update and maintenance of the Program Website and all social media platforms, with an emphasis on inclusivity. 2. Ensure ICT-enabled Program activities including recruitment, tracer studies, feedback surveys and other Program events. 3. Co-ordinate the ICT trainings for Mastercard Foundation Scholars and Staff 4. Be responsible for the technical operations of the Disability Support Unit and the students’ assistive devices and technologies 5. Co-ordinate the procurement and maintenance of all IT-based equipment and services of the Program. 6. Troubleshoot any ICT related problems for the program 7. Evaluate related hardware and software products and make recommendations for adoption. 8. Liaise with the Directorate for ICT Support (DICTS) office for generation of ICT specifications, requirements and procurements for the program 9. Participate in developing Internal local software in liaison with the DICTS. 10. Ensure that all of the program's ICT information is secured and backed up always. 11. Undertake periodic internal ICT audits for the program 12. Monitor, identify and report any safeguarding concerns that may arise during the Program implementation Requirements: Qualifications, Skills & Experience 1. A Master's degree in information systems, information technology, software engineering, computer science or any ICT related program from a recognised university. 2. A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or any ICT related program from a recognized University 3. Knowledge of website design and management 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suites and other digital tools 5. Proficiency in designing, implementing, and analyzing online surveys 6. Experience in End-user support provision 7. Good knowledge of softwares for inclusive Education 8. Good Knowledge of Software and hardware systems management 9. Must demonstrate good skills in analysis and report writing 10. At least 5 years’ experience in an ICT-related work with an Organisation/program Work Hours: 8
