JOB DETAILS: International Programs INPRO was established in 2005, and works on impact and performance evaluations, surveys, and qualitative data collection, among other research activities, throughout the developing world. Our research covers a range of sectors including education and training, child and youth well-being, democracy and governance, agriculture, water and sanitation, infrastructure, housing, finance, and health. Since its establishment INPRO has implemented projects in more than 90 countries. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Support the design of sampling, survey instruments and data collection protocols. • Conduct data cleaning, management, and analysis which will likely include advanced statistical analysis, especially in the case of evaluations or studies. • Support training of enumerators. • Support the preparation of technical reports for evaluation activities by providing programming support and analysis. • Conduct data quality assessments, ensuring that data is of high quality. • Conduct quantitative data analysis and manage large and complex datasets. REQUIRED SKILLS: • Bachelors or Master’s degree in statistics, sociology, economics or related field. • Experience managing large datasets including conducting data quality assessments and data cleaning tasks. • Experience conducting data analysis, including descriptive summary statistics as well as regression analyses. • High-level of knowledge of data analysis software (SPSS, STATA, SAS, etc). • Experience with survey design. • Experience working on data collection projects. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a large team. • Familiarity with USAID performance data information systems, or other such systems; • Experience administering data collection trainings to a diverse range of stakeholders; and • Experience communicating research/evaluation findings to external stakeholders or clients.
