Specific Tasks: - Maintain accurate inventory movement records of all items.
- Carryout daily reconciliation and update stock cards.
- Receive, verify and document daily transfers of finished goods from production.
- Inspect the final output, comparing it to the requirements, and approve or reject the final products.
- Physically inspect and verify all items from suppliers against purchase orders and supplier delivery documents.
- Work with the supervisor to initiate replenishment of all stock items.
- Ensure good customer service through timely serving of customers and exercising good customer care.
- Maintain a comprehensive up to date document retrieval system for all store transactions.
- Ensure correct items and quantities are loaded as per the loading documents.
- Prepare monthly stock reports.
- Maintain clean and organised storage areas at all times.
- Participate in monthly, quarterly and end of year stock taking exercise.
- Operate and control the weigh bridge.
Minimum Requirements: - Bachelorâs Degree in Supply chain management, Procurement and Logistics or any related fields
- Minimum 3 yearsâ experience working in stores department.
Other Qualifications and Skills - Must be proficient in IT and computer use
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- High moral character and integrity is a must
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Should have knowledge in records management and inventory management
- Should have strong customer service skills
- Should be a team player, highly flexible and able to multitask
