Standard Invitation to Bidders tender job at Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development

BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN BIDDING

Procurement of Assistive Devices for Persons with Disabilities under National Special Grant – NSG (Including Distribution, Assembling and Training of Users) – MGLSD/SUPLS/25 – 26/00323

The Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for:

1. The Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development has allocated a budget for the acquisition of the above-mentioned Supplies.

2. The Entry involves sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above supplies.

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Open Domestic bidding method contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205 and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

5. The bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below at 9(b) and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Upto 100,000. The method of payment will be by Bank.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) or before 26th February 2026. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX. 15,000,000. Bid securities or bid securing declarations must be valid until 28th June 2026. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) on 26th February 2026 at 11:00am.

7. There shall not be a pre-bid meeting.
