Standard Invitation to Bidders BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING PROCUREMENT OF 52 TYPE B, 2 TYPE C AND 1 COMMAND AMBULANCES Procurement Ref. No.: MOH/SUPLS/2026-2027/00004 - The Government of Uganda has allocated funds to be used for acquisition of 52 Type B, 2 Type C and 1 Command Ambulances.
- The Ministry of Health now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Equipment described above.
- Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the PPDA Act, 2003 (the Act) and the Regulations made under the Act and is open to all bidders.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address given below at 10(a) from 0500hrs to 1700hrs.
- The bidding document which has been prepared in the English language may be purchased by interested bidders at 10(b) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 500,000/= (Uganda Shillings Five Hundred Thousand Only). The method of payment will be through the Bank on the URA - Non Tax Revenue Account.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below at 10(c) on 25/8/2026 at or before 11:00 am.Lot 1: UGX 170,000,000
Lot 2: UGX 18,000,000
Lot 3: UGX 3,000,000 - The bid security will be in form of a Bank Guarantee obtained from a reputable commercial bank subject to verification. Late bids shall be rejected.
- All bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the amounts specified below:
- Bid securities must be valid until 28th January 2027. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 10(d) at 10:30am.
- There shall not be a pre-bid meeting.
