JOB DETAILS:

Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Remote sensing; or Photogrammetry from a recognized University/ Institution. OR A Bachelor’s degree in Land Surveying; or Cartography; or Engineering surveying; or Geoinformatics from a recognized University/ Institution.

Working Experience

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Staff Photogrammetric for performing the following duties:-

-        Collecting, assembling data for the preparation of mosaic prints, orthophotos, contour maps and profile sheets;

-        Operating aerial camera taking photographs for the production of stereo-models;

-        Providing technical support in the production of line and digital maps;

-        Enforcing adherence to standards and procedures to ensure production of quality photographs;

-        Preparing original maps, charts and drawings from aerial photographs and satellite images;

-        Enforcing adherence to safety and security measures for safe and secure custody of the records of the photographic laboratory;

-        Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
