Our esteemed client is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced SPS/SURF Interface Lead to join our client's pioneering team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the technical interface management between Subsea Production Systems (SPS) and Subsea Umbilicals, Risers, and Flowlines (SURF) packages, ensuring full technical alignment and integration.
Drive the definition and verification of all SPS/SURF interfaces, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and controls, across project phases from concept to execution.
Act as the primary technical point of contact for interface resolution, coordinating with various engineering disciplines, project teams, and external contractors.
Oversee the development, review, and approval of interface control documents (ICDs), technical specifications, and interface agreements.
Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks associated with SPS/SURF interfaces, proposing robust solutions to ensure project integrity and performance.
Participate in design reviews, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and system integration tests (SIT) to validate interface functionality and compliance.
Provide expert technical guidance and support to procurement, fabrication, and installation teams, ensuring successful integration offshore.
Required Skills and Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Ocean Engineering, Civil Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, or a related discipline is essential.
Demonstrated significant experience in SPS/SURF interface management within the oil and gas industry, specifically on major subsea projects.
Profound technical understanding of subsea production systems, subsea umbilical, risers, flowlines, and associated components and operations.
Exceptional ability to interpret and apply relevant industry codes, standards, and best practices.
Proven leadership capabilities, with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders effectively.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
Proficiency in relevant engineering software and project management tools.
