This is a practical role combining professional social work and case management with active involvement in the daily operation of the Childrenâs Home. Key responsibilities include: - Child protection, case management and family reintegration
- Following up on childrenâs wellbeing and development
- Supporting the daily operation of the Childrenâs Home
- Guiding and coordinating Home Parents
- Working with children, families, probation officers and relevant authorities
- Maintaining case documentation and supporting reporting and compliance
Qualifications and Experience: - A Bachelorâs degree in Social Work or a related field
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong practical experience in case management and child protection
- Good communication, organisational and coordination skills
- The ability to work independently, take responsibility and work well with others
- A genuine commitment to the wellbeing and protection of children
- Christian faith and willingness to work within the values of God Helps Uganda
Experience in a Childrenâs Home or residential childcare setting, as well as experience with family reintegration, is an advantage. Male candidates are particularly encouraged to apply. Additional Details: - Location: Lira City, Uganda
- Full-time | Non-residential
- Approximately two overnight stays at the Home per month
- Start: As soon as possible
