We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Social Enterprise Associate to lead the growth and sustainability of our Social Enterprise. Role Summary The Social Enterprise Associate will lead the management, growth, and sustainability of the Social Enterprise by driving business development, value addition, sales and marketing, consultancy services, strategic partnerships, branding, and enterprise performance. The successful candidate will promote innovation, strengthen market linkages, and develop inclusive business models that generate sustainable revenue while advancing ACSA's mission. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Enterprise Growth - Develop and implement business growth strategies to increase revenue and sustainability.
- Identify and develop innovative business models, products, and services.
- Design revenue-generating business proposals and projects.
- Prepare business proposals, concept notes, grant applications, and investment pitches.
- Build strategic partnerships with government, private sector, development partners, and financial institutions.
- Conduct market research and identify emerging opportunities.
- Expand the enterprise's client base, markets, consultancy services, and income streams.
2. Enterprise Operations & Service Delivery - Coordinate consultancy assignments from planning to completion.
- Develop consultancy work plans, budgets, contracts, and schedules.
- Ensure timely, high-quality service delivery.
- Coordinate consultants and technical experts.
- Maintain quality assurance standards.
- Monitor client satisfaction and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
3. Sales, Marketing & Business Promotion - Develop and implement annual sales and marketing strategies.
- Identify and secure new clients for consultancy, training, and enterprise services.
- Organize promotional campaigns, exhibitions, trade fairs, and product launches.
- Build customer relationships and improve client retention.
- Develop pricing strategies and promotional campaigns.
- Manage branding, digital marketing, and social media platforms.
4. Value Addition & Product Development - Identify opportunities for agricultural value addition.
- Support product development, packaging, labelling, and market positioning.
- Coordinate product certification and quality assurance.
- Promote compliance with national standards.
- Facilitate market linkages for value-added products.
5. Monitoring, Reporting & Learning - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports.
- Monitor enterprise performance against targets.
- Analyze financial and operational performance.
- Document lessons learned, innovations, and success stories.
- Recommend improvements to strengthen enterprise sustainability.
6. Financial & Resource Management - Prepare annual and activity budgets.
- Monitor expenditure and budget performance.
- Support financial planning and revenue forecasting.
- Ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.
- Work with the finance team to monitor profitability.
7. Partnerships & Stakeholder Engagement - Build and maintain relationships with clients, government agencies, development partners, academia, private sector actors, and farmer organizations.
- Represent ACSA at meetings, conferences, exhibitions, and networking events.
- Coordinate strategic partnerships and mobilize technical and financial support.
8. Other Duties - Perform any other duties assigned by the National Coordinator.

Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Agribusiness Management, Agricultural Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Commerce, Agriculture, Agricultural Science, Development Studies, Social Entrepreneurship, or a related field.
- A Master's degree is an added advantage.
- Candidates with a Diploma in a relevant field and substantial experience may also be considered.
- Professional training or certification in Project Management, Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business Development, Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), or Entrepreneurship is an added advantage.
Experience - Minimum of 2â5 years' experience in business development, sales and marketing, social enterprise management, agribusiness, enterprise development, or project implementation.
- Demonstrated experience in proposal and grant writing, branding, customer acquisition, partnership development, market research, and revenue generation.
- Experience working with NGOs, donor-funded projects, social enterprises, or the private sector is an added advantage.
