About the Company:

The Aga Khan University (AKU) is a private, not-for-profit, international University first established in 1983, with 13 teaching sites in 8 countries. It is a non-denominational institution open to all, irrespective of religion, ethnicity, gender or national origin. AKU has offers academic programmes in nursing, medicine and education for and in countries in East Africa.

Job Summary: The incumbent will be required to provide leadership within the Centre for Innovation in Medical Education -Kampala, addressing the needs of the local stakeholders by delivering innovation in medical education and high quality simulation-based learning.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: Applicants should have:

Bachelor’s degree in health sciences in the field of medicine or nursing from an accredited and recognized University.
Minimum 5 years of clinical experience.
Previous experience of simulation-based learning is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills, Leadership and Research skills, analytical skills, as well as excellent coordination skills
