Shop Attendant job at Masaka Farms

Job Purpose:

To provide excellent customer service at the farm's retail outlet, handling sales transactions, restocking shelves, and maintaining a clean and inviting shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products (e.g., fresh produce, farm products).
• Operate a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system, processing cash and card payments accurately.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a professional manner.
• Restock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively and priced correctly.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the shop area.
• Assist with receiving and checking new deliveries.
• Promote special offers and new products to customers.

Qualifications & Skills:

• KCSE certificate or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role is an advantage.
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
• Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
• Honest and reliable with a strong work ethic.
