JOB DETAILS: Under the supervision of the Executive Director and based in Kampala, Uganda, the Senior Programs & Business Development Manager will collaborate closely with Latek Social Entrepreneur members to ensure the effective implementation and success of the social enterprise model. This role places a strong emphasis on achieving community impact and prioritizing set KPIs. About Latek Stay Alliance Uganda Latek Stay Alliance Uganda is an umbrella organization of social entrepreneurs, with the primary objective of reducing extreme poverty through a social enterprise approach that promotes sustainability and impact. Key Duties and Responsibilities • Spearhead program development by creating high-quality management tools and documents focused on viability, SMART goals, continuous quality improvement, and achieving KPIs with a business-oriented mindset. • Provide risk management and business development support, including market research, R&D, business planning, training, and one-on-one coaching or mentorship for Latek members. • Operationalize and continuously improve internal processes and systems, including periodic reporting coordination. • Oversee preparation, quality assurance, and management of MOUs and contracts with implementing partners. • Provide support for both program and non-program process optimization. • Assist with Monitoring and Evaluation activities, including collaborative program cycle evaluations. • Support strategic decision-making, process optimization, and operational management of designated programs. • Undertake additional responsibilities as required by the supervisor. Required Skills and Experience • Education: University degree in Agribusiness or a business-related field; postgraduate or Master's degree is an added advantage. • Experience: o Minimum 5 years of experience in agricultural or related business enterprises. o Experience with social enterprises at a managerial level. o Strong ICT skills, data analysis expertise, excellent training and facilitation skills, and analytical thinking.
