Job Title:   Senior IT Officer –  IT Infrastructure

Job Summary: NIC General Insurance is looking for an experienced person to take up a position of Senior IT Officer – IT Infrastructure.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Server administration and preventive/proactive maintenance.
- Bulk SMS Management.
- ICT Infrastructure assets management and maintenance.
- End user data backup and management and ensuring security measures are in place and update antivirus software regularly.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
- Telephone PABX System management
- Employee clock-in system management
- Assist in help desk support on the AIMS and company email.
- Assist personnel of other departments as an IT resource.
- Making recommendations for infrastructure provisioning solutions or improvements to the business that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
- Any other professional duties as may be required from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- At least three (3) years of proven work experience in IT support or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, software, and networks.
- Experience with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), office software.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good working understanding of IT security principles and practices.
