The role requires strong technical knowledge of transfer pricing principles, hands-on experience in preparing TP documentation and handling TP audits by the tax authorities. Responsibilities or duties Key Responsibilities: - Prepare TP Documentation reports in accordance with the OECD TP Guidelines and the Uganda TP regulations. This will include conducting, FAll Analysis, benchmarking studies using recognized transfer pricing databases, determine appropriate methodology among others
- Prepare Local Files, Master Files, and Country-by-Country Reporting support documentation, as may be required.
- Support clients during transfer pricing audits/review by tax authorities. This will include among others representing clients in meetings, preperation and submission of explanations and supporting documentation during tax audits
- Menage day-to-day client engagements and maintain effective client relationships This will include among others; participating in business development initiatives and assignment delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior associates and interms.
Qualifications or requirements (e.g., education, skills) Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Commerce Law, Statistics, or a related field.
- CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT, or progression towards such qualification
- Training or certification in transfer pricing is an added advantage
Experience needed Required Experience - 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Transfer Pricing related activities
