Experience and Qualification - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Certification: A professional qualification (ACCA/CPA) or progress toward completion.
- Experience: 3–4 years of hands-on experience in tax consulting or compliance, ideally within a reputable audit or tax advisory firm.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication, client management, and project delivery skills.
- A proactive, agile, and solutions-oriented mindset.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Prepare and review tax computations, returns, and statutory submissions.
- Provide tax consulting support and develop tax opinions.
- Handle tax objections and represent clients before the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) in audits and disputes.
- Deliver client education through webinars and trainings on tax trends.
- Engage in tax planning, risk identification, and client negotiations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure quality and meet deadlines.
