Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelorâs Degree in Land Economics; or Land Management and Valuation from a recognized University/ Institution
Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Government Valuer for performing the following duties:-
- Supporting formulation of valuation policies, legislation, standards, regulations and guidelines;
- Supporting provision of technical support and supervision, guidance and training to land holding/management institutions, stakeholders and the general public on property valuation in the Country;
- Supporting drafting and submitting of workplans, budgets and performance reports for the Valuation Department;
- Supporting in monitoring adherence to National Valuation Practices and Standards by Land Management Institutions;
- Supporting provision of technical support and supervision to Local Governments and other stakeholders on matters regarding or incidental to valuation;
- Supporting, developing and updating of the National Valuation Register;
- Supporting in carrying out valuation activities;
Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
