- Monitor and control access to restricted areas, ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
- Issue visitor passes and verify credentials as required.
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and security threats, including medical incidents, fire, or unauthorized access.
- Take appropriate action in accordance with company protocols and emergency response procedures.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare detailed incident reports documenting any security-related occurrences, observations, or disturbances.
- Provide a safe and secure environment for company employees, visitors, and assets.
- Escort company Directors and other designated personnel when required, including during external travel.
- Provide professional and courteous assistance to all individuals entering and exiting the premises.
- Assist with inquiries and direct visitors to the appropriate personnel or location.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal security regulations applicable to the workplace.
- Participate in company-required security training programs and skill development courses.
- Adhere to all standard operating procedures and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive security matters.
- Perform other duties as required by management related to the security function of the company.
Qualifications: - College diploma or equivalent required; additional education or training in security preferred.
- Proven experience as a Security Officer or similar role is advantageous.
- Knowledge in Microsoft office Suite.
- Holder of valid certificate of good conduct (Police clearance certificate)
- Height &Weight- above 5.8ft tall and 75kg-100kg respectively.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately in stressful situations.
- Knowledge of basic first aid and emergency response procedures.
