Main Duties and Responsibilities - Overseeing the day-to-day security operations for the Business Unit
- Monitor and evaluate unit performance on key security issues and programs, recommend appropriate corrective action programs.
- To conduct site reviews, writing audit/review reports, reviewing findings, and making recommendations to management.
- Establish a robust customer relationship to ensure complete understanding of customer processes to enable the delivery of viable security responses.
- Responsible for planning, developing and implementing security plans, security programs such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Physical Security, Information Protection, Incident Management and/or Investigation.
- Maintain knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues and security technology and update management on risk and threat that could impact company business.
- Responsible to perform annual risk analysis for the company, particularly with respect to level of crime, terrorism, workplace violence, threats from natural and manmade disasters.
- Responsible for providing leadership, advice and counsel to management on security policy and practices.
- Provide advice and counsel to management on the expenditures of resources for protection of company assets where compromise or loss of these assets could seriously affect company business.
- Provide leadership, advice and counsel to all security staff in achieving current and long-term strategic program objectives.
- Conduct investigations of significant threats and/or the loss or misappropriation of assets and violations.
- Perform incident analysis and investigation relative to all incidents with advice and closure to all responsible functional management.
- Maintain/preserve all evidential records to acceptable the standards as per evidence regulations.
- Review, analyze and submit insurance claims i.e. marine claims, GIT claims, traffic accident claims, all risk claims and fidelity claims, collect the necessary documents to support the claims and enable claims assessment.
- Support loss recovery measures by liaising with underwriters, loss adjusters and insurance investigators to ensure fair settlement and maximum compensations/claim discharge.
- Develop and implement security coordinator program which includes developing a training program for all security personnel for the company.
- Coordinate the development and implementation of anti-illicit trade strategies and coherent engagement plan to tackling illicit trade (counterfeits, substandard and diversions) and brand protection.
- Key internal and external stakeholder engagement in order to anticipate, identify, assess and reduce opportunities for illicit trade.
- Develop and manage a training program aimed at sensitizing the relevant authorities and other stakeholders on illicit trade issues.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, data protection and private security regulations.
- Manage the performance of subordinates and others as advised.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills Qualifications required: - A Diploma or Bachelorâs Degree in Security Management or other relevant professions.
Experience required: - Eight yearsâ General work experience and Five yearsâ work experience Specific to the position preferably in the Manufacturing Sector.

- High standards of personal ethics and integrity
- Strong negotiation as well as operational skills
